Tak leh balik rayaaaa! Waaaaa! Bird flu and dengue fever punya pasal. Dah abahnya tak bagi budak-budak ni balik msia pulak. Takut balik sini nanti kena quarantine pulak. Boringnya kena raya sini. So am not looking forward to raya sini. Takde kawan dekat-dekat with whom I can raya like I do kat kampung.. this is so bumming!

Ramadhan Mubarak!

Hujung minggu lepas buat shopping sampai tiga kedai untuk beli groceries. Bila dah bulan puasa ni selera berbuka lebih kepada makanan melayu. Pergi kedai vietnam jumpa petai. Beli petai 2 plastik. Jumpa manggis frozen. Beli. Jumpa nangka frozen. Beli. Jumpa durian. Beli jugak. Dan yang best jumpa kuih pau dan samosa buatan msia, yang ada chop halal. Beli 4 kotak. Myalya suka makan samosa. Nak buat kita malas sebab nak kena buat inti, nak kena lipat gitu gini, nak kena goreng. Kuih pau tu more untuk kita. Budak-budak ni tak berapa dengan kuih pau. Sebab tu jarang buat.
Azam bulan puasa tahun ni nak tingkatkan kualiti puasa dan kuantiti amal ibadat sunat. Semoga bulan suci ini menjadi bulan kemenangan untuk kita semua.

We now have three bikes for the kids. A yellow bicycle with training wheels. The seat can be raised or lowered for either kid's use and two tricycles. The thing is both kids want to ride the yellow bike. I let myalya ride it first. So, myzayne was not happy as you can see from the pix. The two other tri-cycles are not good enough for myzayne. He wants the big kid bike. Terpaksa myalya beralah.
It took awhile for myalya to figure out the pedal function i.e. she has to push the pedal backward to apply brakes and she has to point her ankle forward to start pedalling. She finally gets the hang of it now. The helmets are more for my peace of mind the anything else. Zayne's is still too big for him. And when they are not using the helmets when they are bike riding, they use it as an ammo to hurt each other!
Sorry the pix quality isn't that great. I am still adjusting to the new camera and this one is low on battery juice when these pix were taken.

Apple Picking on A Rainy Day

Took the kids for a day in the country last Saturday. A group of us malaysian organized an apple picking trip last saturday. Bukan nak sangat makan applepun. Sesaja. It's been a family tradition. Hari hujan pulak. So, instead of spending the day picking apples, kami yang melayu ni duduk kat pavillion just feeding our face. Ada rojak, pasembor, mi goreng, nasi goreng. Sejuk-sejuk ni bila dah ramai-ramai makan jugak yang best. Kutip apple hijau, cecah dengan sambal rojak. Umm, yumm.
Dari apple orchard, terus ke rumah linot. Sambung party kat rumah dia. Makan lagi. Kak Enson buat mi hailam pulak. Adeh. Nak masuk bulan puasa ni, asyik makan saja kerjanya. Kita anak beranak tido rumah linot malam tu. Actually, me and kids were at her place all weekend. Hari Isnin lepas kerja baru balik. Lintang pukang dapur kita di kerjakan oleh mrL.

Thieves and princess

While I was busy outside, Alya woke up from her beautysleep. Raided the fridge and found the cohocolate syrup. One thing that she knew very well that she should not eat without my permission. Since I wasn't a round she gave herself the permission to indulge. Being the ever nice sister she shared it with myzayne, fed myzayne the choc syrup while he is still in his crib. The two mischiefs were caught red handed (and speckle faced) at the scene of crime.
On to another news, myalya was given this pretty nice night gown for her 3rd birthday. I decided to let her wear this recently since it finally fits her nicely. So myalya thinks it's a dress fits for princess. Jadi apa lagi, melaram le anak dara ni. Dengan kasut emas dan tiara dia, tersengih-sengih.
